This hand-knotted Kazak was hand-knotted in the style of the Caucasus carpets and impresses with its high robustness and lively colors. The natural plant colors of Gazni wool in red and blue as well as beige and gold are shown to their best advantage in the geometric shapes, inspired by old Uzbek carpets. It therefore reflects the culture of the Caucasus in a beautiful composition. A culture that has mastered the art of carpet weaving for centuries and conveys it to the outside world in vibrant colors. With the fine quality of approx. 350.000 knots / m2, it is possible to create remarkably fine contours on these carpets.
The colors of this rug vary depending on which side it is viewed from. This means that the carpet has a light and a dark side because of the location of the pile. You can play with this visible effect and decide in advance where the light side of the carpet should be visible.
