Pakistan Bukhara carpets are among the most popular and well-known Pakistani carpets. The simple and harmonious patterns and the timeless elegance of the antique Bukhara carpets are mostly in red. The so-called Tekke Bokhara (Bukhara), which was knotted by a Turkmen tribe, is very well known. It is decorated with several rows of small medallions and is still made in Pakistan today. The rugs have a luxurious feel and are usually made from high quality Australian or New Zealand wool, making them extremely soft and shiny as well as very durable.
