Kazak rugs are characterized by their geometric patterns and are largely inspired by older Russian and Caucasian rug patterns. Today these carpets are made in Pakistan and sold under the name "Kazak". The rugs are quite sturdy and durable and are a popular choice among interior designers. The timeless elegance and vibrant colors of Kazak rugs form a strong contrast to minimalist and neutral designs. The natural plant colors of Gazni wool in red and blue as well as beige and gold are shown to their best advantage in the geometric shapes, inspired by old Uzbek carpets. It therefore reflects the culture of the Caucasus in a beautiful composition. A culture that has mastered the art of carpet weaving for centuries and conveys it to the outside world in vibrant colors.
