In this highly complex process, the pile is partially removed in order to then design the carpets in fascinating, new colors and patterns. With a knot density of around 400.000 knots per square meter, the high quality of the handcraft is evident in every detail. The use of pure new wool, which has a natural fat content, makes these rugs particularly resistant to daily use. The colors of this rug vary depending on which side it is viewed from. This means that the carpet has a light and a dark side because of the location of the pile. You can play with this visible effect and decide in advance where the light side of the carpet should be visible.
